The graphics below show the average number of vehicles using each intersection during the busiest hours of the morning and evening and estimates for 2035.
The traffic analysis determined that the Walker Road/178th Avenue intersection qualifies for a traffic signal due to:
- Sufficient vehicle traffic to meet signal requirements.
- Need for a signalized crossing to increase safety of bicyclists and pedestrians.
- Need to improve access and reduce delays for side-streets near the intersection.
